I married my high school sweetheart, Tammy Miller, in 1985. We have a 13 year old wiener dog named Mousse. I have been employed with All Crane Rental, Inc. in Columbus since August 1985 and am a member of the Oiling and Operating Engineers. At this time All has one of the largest cranes in the world at the World Trade Tower site. Tammy and I enjoy going to NASCAR races and working long, long hours. Jim and I will soon celebrate our 16th wedding anniversary. We have 4 children ages 24,19,13&10 and 3 grandchildren. I have worked as a nurse for the past 17 years; the past 10 years working in the field of MR/DD. We moved from Logan in 1988 but visit family often.
This is an update: I was deeply saddened to have missed the reunion. I did however enjoy seeing the pictures and the many familiar faces of my past. This has been a very difficult yet rewarding year for my family. I nearly lost my husband and best friend of 16 years to his second heart attack. First at age 40, the second at age 44. He underwent a 4 way bi-pass to save his life, then developed a hospital borne infection called MRSA that nearly cost him his life once again. It has been 5 months of agonizing recovery but worth every bit of it just to have my family whole again. 20 years ago, we all had many hopes and dreams, many that have changed repeatedly over time. I found that no matter what comes our way in life, God, family and friends are all that we have and and are our greatest reward. I've also learned that nothing should ever be taken for granted because it can all end, all too quickly, and when we least expect it. Thank you to those special friends that were there with me in this very difficult time in my life. Your thoughtfulness and prayers were much appreciated. Hope to keep in touch in the future. Garth has been replaced by Cash (do you know how many albums and songs that man recorded?? Trust me, LOTS) Kylen is in fifth grade at Chieftain. I re-married in October 1997 to a wonderful man making a career in the Navy, which lead us to re-locating to Oklahoma in August 1998. I still live near Dallas Texas (where I have since 1985) and I still work for
Tecon Corporation as Vice President and IT Director. Tecon Corporation is
owned by the Murchison family which was original responsible for bringing the
Cowboys to Dallas in the early 60’s (I found this kind of cool).
I married the most wonder woman alive in 1997 by the name of
Lecia Parker. She and I recently built a new house and as
of 12-09-05 we have finally added a beautiful baby girl (Madison
Jae Rau) to the mix. Arriving at seven pounds ten ounces

I have had a really interesting and wonderful life so far. I have worked in the travel field since graduating college. I have been in Education and consulting for the past 15 years. I am employed at Hocking College, directing their Ecotourism and Adventure Travel program, managing a travel agency and an educational facility in the Bahamas, in addition to teaching environmental tourism, and directing their study abroad programming and the U.S. Division of an international environmental tourism organization, Greenforce. I have traveled around the world and met so many wonderful and interesting people. I love to help make a difference in other cultures and people through environmental education and see the difference it makes in my students life. I have two amazing and wonderful children; my daughter Tiffany who is now 20, and my son Tristan who is 17. They have been a true blessing in my life. Isn't this sooooo cool. Oh my goodness, how to sum up 20 years in just a paragraph! Well I actually moved away from Logan our sophomore year - I would be gratified if you noticed I was missing lol. I have had a great time. I have had opportunities to live all over the United States (San Diego, Chicago, New Jersey) as well as travel to Europe which was really cool. I have a great daughter who keeps me on my toes. I loved playing softball for my Dad. I always thought we had a special relationship as a result of that, so I wanted to do something athletic with my daughter. Imagine my horror when she settled on martial arts. Oh my god, did you ever look at me and think ninja? No. I didn't think so. Me neither. Well that has been a few years ago and I have to admit, it has been a lot more enjoyable than what I thought it would be! When I am not relaxing by having someone deliver kicks to my head, I work at Riverside Hospital (I bet you are thinking that is convenient!) and I have recently started back to school at Ohio State. Hey Everyone; Well, I've been living in Canton for the last 15 years, and working as a forensic chemist...Yep, CSI. Crime Scenes, bad guys, drugs, guns, the whole bit. In my spare time, I have been participating in some theatre projects. I have written several plays, one "Conversations at the Christopher Street Grille" has been produced locally, and won awards for acting and playwriting at the state theatre competition. Another was produced locally, and in Los Angeles, California, and is called "Happy Anniversary Angel, Love Gino!" Another is in the works, I'll keep you posted. I am also assistant house organist at the Canton Palace Theatre, entertaining folks at the Kilgen Pipe organ. Lots of fun. Probably going to be traveling to China in the spring to assist a friend in a Chinese adoption. Quite an adventure. Wish us luck. We'll try not to start an international incident! Last Update 4/12/07~~ Hi everyone, I was taking a look at the website and thought I would update my profile. I retired in 2003 from Discover Card due to my health. In 2004 I fell out my front door and severly fractured my left femur. It is full of steel rods and screws. Makes for a fun time going through the scaners at the airport. I was hospitilized for almost 3 months and am now in a wheelchair full time. Actually, life is good I guess it's just how you look at it. I am still married to my wife Becky. She is still an OB nurse at Fairfield Medical Center. We travel every chance we get and have a time-share we go to at Disney World several times per year. Other than the traveling, I spend a lot of time with my son Seth who is now 10 and in the 4th grade at West Intermeidate Elementary. He is active in football and plays lineman for the Logan Tomahawks. I hope to see him at the horseshoe at Ohio State one day. The kid is a walking Disney Dictionary, and tell you anything you want to know about Disney World and the World Wrestling Entertainment (I hate WWE) He is a great kid and I'm very proud to be his dad. Hope to see everyone at the 25th reunion!

20 years.....whew! So much has happened! I am married to George & we live about 3 miles out of Logan. We just moved into our dream home--a log home on a hill with a gorgeous view! I have 2 super daughters from a previous marriage--Stephanie is 13 & a 7th grader at the middle school. Selena is 11 & in the 5th grade at East school. They're involved in various activities, so, like most moms, I spend my evenings as a taxi driver! As the 25 year reunion approaches I am so excited to see everyone. I am still residing in Logan with my husband George and my son Zach who is now 15. We stay busy with sports, work, 2 dogs, 2 cats and a home. I am now employed with the American Red Cross of Central Ohio. I worked there years ago and went back 14 months ago and love it. I met my awesome husband of 15 years at OU, graduated, married, taught school for five years, took 10 years off to stay at home with my sweet 10 year old daughter and "active" 8 year old son. Wow! To put 20 years into a paragraph is quite a challenge. First, We would like to thank Brenda for making all of this possible. Also we would like to say "Hello" to all of our classmates that we haven't seen in a while. My husband, David and I met shortly after graduation at McDonalds. We were married in 1984 and have been married (obviously) 18 years. We have three wonderful children, Annika 13, Kristyn 9, and our youngest (and most active) Benjamin 5. We currently own our own businesses. I am a hairstylist of only 20 years this year and a salon owner 16 years. God has blessed us for being able to get the farm that I was raised on and also to move the beauty salon out here as well. "First" Let me take this opportunity to thank Brenda and her beautiful family for this wonderful web page. (this is a great thing). Hmmmmmm!.... Where do I start.... Dottie and I have been married for almost 19 years, We have 3 sons,.. Donald William 17, Jeremy Leland 13, Joshua Daniel 10, All three are great kids. Good thing they look like mommy and not me :). well... Dottie is a very successful business woman she runs 3 companies, One in Ohio, one in Indiana, and the other in Florida, She is a great mother, I don't know how she does it. It's hard to believe that I was half the age I am now, When I first tasted the magic of her kiss.... Well as for me I'm still in the U.S. Navy and soon (15 months) will retire with 20+ years of Naval service. I've been around the world 3 times and have visited 47 different countries. I'm currently with my last tour of duty in Fighter Squadron Eleven (F-14 Tomcats) Based at Naval Air Station Oceana in Va. Beach, Va. While Dottie and the boys keep the home fires burning back in Ohio, (Even now, after all these years she still amazes me.) Unfortunately at the time frame of the reunion, I'll be Deployed over seas, and we'll be flying missions from the deck of the USS JOHN F. KENNEDY (CV-67) on my last Deployment. Me and the rest of Fighter Squadron Eleven, Will give the Terrorist some (PAYBACK)... From the class of 1982..... Plans after retirement Well...... 20 Years! I've always said I would go to my 20 year reunion, and here it is! Well, I've been married for 19 years to my High School sweetheart Michelle. Hi everyone! This is great! I sure do miss Logan sometimes, and as I have no family there anymore, I don't get home often.
I live in a suburb of Toledo, am married for over 15 years, have two beautiful children, and a full time job. I work in a charter school for children with autism. Tough but rewarding. Wow, were do I start! Well all 3 children have graduated, since my last posting. My 2 older children (Adam, and Jamie), are now married and have children of there own. My oldest Adam graduated from DeVry with a Bachelors in Computer Engineering, and my middle child is taking business management (she had to wait to go to college, due to she became a mom 10 months after getting married). very much since I moved to northern Ohio. My father still
lives in Logan. I have travel alot in the last 10 years. I
have been to 42 states now, and also Canada, and Mexico, and
the Bahamas. I love traveling out west. My children love Las
Vegas, Nevada. We have been there alot of times. I'am a stay a
home mother now. I used to work at Rubbermaid Corp. in
Wooster, Ohio for 10 years, and also at the Weight Watcher
Corp. in Massillon for a couple of years. I have a lot of

Last Update 3/26/07~~Boy did that last 5 years go by fast! Here it is time for another chance to catch up on each other's lives. As for me, I am still single (so one of my Senior Superlatives came true). I still live in my house in Columbus. It will be 15 years in May that I have lived there (half-way through my morgage). I still work for the Defense Finance and Accounting Service (DFAS). I just celebrated 15 years with the company last September (2006). My job title has changed from Office Services Assistant to Accounting Technician. I work with the military travel orders between bases. It involves a lot of computer work. I have had close to 25 poems published since last we met. Go to Poetry.com and type in my name and you will see several of my poems published there. Noble House Publishing in England gave me the honor of a 2006 Poet Fellow award. Poetry.com named me as U.S. 2006 Poet Ambassador in April this past year. I am looking into getting some of my poetry published on greeting cards. I will let you know when that happens. I am still involved with both choir and worship team at my church. This past December, I got to sing a solo that I auditioned for, beating out three others for the part. I have been working with a young man from my church on writing a gospel song. It is about ready to be sung in front of an audience. This will be the second song that I have collaborated on. I am quite happy with my life and where it has led me. I finally retired the UNITED STATES NAVY AFTER 22 YEARS OF SERVICE 4 ACTIVE 18 RESERVE. OK! We're the parents now! How did this happen? In some ways I don't feel any different, in other ways I feel like I look like Meeme on Drew Carry, and some days I want to act like her! Just kidding, I hope I am not that bad! Two weeks after graduation, my whole family moved. I was signed up with Delta Airlines to be a flight attendant. I panicked. Cancelled, thinking I can always go back, and went to work full time at Murphy Mart (remember the first big department store to hit Logan). I purchased a small house to live in and waited for the rest of the family to move back home. I felt that if I would have left, we would not have a place to call home. Picking up some college along the way, I wound up a Lab Analyst at Ralston Foods until I had my son Levi and decided to be a stay at home Mom. My marriage soon dissolved, and I recently built a new home for my son and I beside my other little house. I now work at Sawmiller, Inc. in Haydenville, and I am also a real estate sales agent. My son Levi is my whole life, and I look forward to every new surprise and challenge he comes up with. If I only knew then what I know now, I would be like Tex and have 12 kids! I moved to Columbus after high school graduation to attend Columbus State and stayed there. In 1988, I met my future husband Robert, a native of Westchester City., NY, while he was a junior at OSU. We moved to the east coast in 1990. Robert and I were married on the beach in Bermuda in 1994. We settled in the coastal town of Fairfield, CT. It's a wonderful town to raise children, but I do miss not being able to visit my family and friends back home as often as I'd like. We have three boys- Austin-5, Ryan-3 and Dillon-18 months. Before the birth of my third son, I worked for international oil tanker brokers for eight years as a contract administrator. I had the opportunity to meet a lot of interesting people from all over the world who visited and/or did internships with the company. I am now working harder than ever staying home with my boys, and it is by far the most fulfilling and rewarding. They are the light of my life.

Hi everyone, I never expected respond to this whole reunion thing. I was one of those who left LHS behind for Tri-County. I guess I knew I would never stay in Logan. Nothing against it, just wanted out and soon! After graduation I came to Miami for travel and tourism school. I found myself missing my friends and returned home. I always loved Columbus so I found employment with Camelot Music and moved quickly. After a few years with them, I took a transfer for a management position back in Miami. I figured I really did not spend much time with my friends or family and I hate cold weather. I decided to leave retail behind and get back into tourism. That led me to Turnberry Isle Resort & Club in Aventura. I have been a purchasing agent here for 12, going on 13 years. Most recently I obtained my Real Estate License. I joined Keyes Realtors at the Sunset Kendall Branch. I guess it is in my blood. You may know my mom, Donna Cecil, my stepfather Bob and my sister Kellie Rutter with Hocking Valley Realty. Well, I hope this works out for me as I am way overdue for a change. Most of us are close to 40 so you know just what I am talking about. Still single? Well, sort of. Some of you know what I mean too. I really appreciate the fact I was contacted to try to attend the reunion. Sorry for the neglect in responding. I love Miami and I really feel it keeps you young. I enjoy going to the gym 4 days a week, going to the beach when ever time permits, and I love the Clubs in Miami and Ft. Lauderdale. Be sure to check out the nightlife if you ever come down.
