BIBLICAL Steps to Salvation 

Do you want forgiveness for your sins? 

• Romans 3:23 says, "for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." 

God offers us a perfect remedy to our sinful nature. 

• Romans 6:23 states, "For the wages of sin is death (hell) but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord" 

Do you want to go to heaven when you die? 

• In John 14:6 Jesus tells us, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to The Father except through me." 

Since no one is perfect except Jesus Christ, the Son of God, we must be saved to enter the kingdom of heaven. 

• Romans 10:13 states "Everyone who calls on the name of The Lord will be saved." 

Jesus wants to come into your heart but he needs to be invited by you. 

• Revelation 3:20 says, "Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and be with him and he with me." 

Pray this prayer and believe in your heart it is the truth and you will be saved. 

"Dear God, 

        I am a sinner. I know that Jesus died on the cross to pay the penalty for my sins so I would not have to go to hell. Lord, please forgive my sins. Jesus, please come into my life right now and save me. Jesus, I accept you as my Lord and Savior. Thank you God for forgiving my sins and giving me the gift of eternal life in heaven with you. In Jesus' name I pray, Amen." 

Congratulations! By praying that prayer and meaning it, you are in an ever-lasting relationship with Jesus Christ! You are saved by God's grace and The Holy Spirit lives in you. That relationship with Jesus alone is all anyone needs to get to heaven. Remember this: praying for forgiveness, being baptized, going to church or doing good works will not get anyone to heaven-the scriptures above are very clear about this.
